Ally's "Pro-1" Series

Ally's Pro-1 series seminars are designed for professional and experienced project managers that want to expand their skills or who just need a few extra PDUs. While we designed the courses for PMP-certified project managers, we encourage all novice through experienced project managers to attend these courses. We assume you have a basic knowledge of the subject matter, so we can get right to the advanced techniques and skills you need to master the topic in a quick 1-day format. You'll not only learn advanced techniques, you'll practice your skills with other experienced project managers, and earn a few PDUs along the way.

No waiting for the new project managers to get up to speed; No trudging through the basic material. In these courses, we get right to work!

We've even included recession pricing. If you're a PMP who's "between careers", need PDUs but still want to invest your training money wisely, you'll find these courses are exactly what you're looking for.

Course 801: Writing Project Requirements Pro-1

This 1-day seminar is designed for novice and experienced project managements that want to increase their skills in writing requirements. You'll learn and practice how to define high-level project success criteria, then develop detailed project requirements that will satisfy your client, managers, and other key stakeholders.

Course 802: Project Risk Management Pro-1

In this course, you'll see exactly how to reduce the risk in your projects by modifying the WBS, including specific tasks to address risks, rank and prioritize risks, assign ownership and monitor risks like never before. When you're done with this course, you to will realize that simple, well-planned risk management can significantly improve and stabilize your project plan.

Course: 803: Program Management Office Pro-1

Many organizations realize the importance of the Program Management Office (PMO) -- an group dedicated to ensure the success of all projects. In this 1-day seminar, we explore the core issues concerning all PMOs; 1) how to define the PMO's actions, authorities, and responsibilities that truly benefit the organization; and 2) how to gain acceptance of the key stakeholders, including senior managers and functional managers.

Course 804: Project Metrics Pro-1

This 1-day course expands on the basic concepts you already know about project management metrics and help you develop practical metrics that you can actually use to improve your operations. You will learn how to develop a simple set of metrics that 1) can be easily captured, 2) accurately determine your progress work remaining, and 3) identify those areas which will offer the greatest improvement in your methodologies.
